and

The services provided by Winter & Drew Publishing Ltd.

  1. This site is owned, operated and managed by Winter & Drew Publishing Ltd (the Company).

  2. By entering the site you agree that you will adhere to these Terms and Conditions.

  3. This site contains material that is copyright-owned by the Company, Associates, Authors or Suppliers. You agree that all such copyright material, specifically including logos of the Company and partner organisations, book covers, photographs and any associated publicity material, will not be copied or used in any way without the owner’s written permission, and then only within the specific parameters of the permission granted.

  4. You agree that contact and personal details of every Author, Associate, staff member and any other person on this site are intended only for use within this site, and for the purposes of the business of Winter & Drew Publishing Ltd. Any unauthorised copying, ‘scraping’ or any other means of ‘harvesting’ such data is specifically prohibited. Furthermore, you agree not to make any contact or communication with any Author, Associate, staff member or any other person on this site by any means or for any purpose other than the specific purposes of Winter & Drew Publishing Ltd and the site.

  5. You agree that any communication – digital message, submission, email or form-based – that you send via the site will not contravene the rights of the recipient or any other person. Any such communication which is, or potentially may be, libellous, defamatory, abusive, obscene, racist, politically divisive, or which contravenes UK laws on sexual, gender, age, race and disability equality is specifically prohibited.

  6. If a third party breaches Clause 5 above against you, you agree that your claim is against the third party, and to waive all claims for such breach against the Company, its Officers, Staff, Authors and Associate Publishers.

  7. You agree that your submission is your own copyright work, and does not breach the copyright or other rights of any other party. You also agree that nothing in your submission contains material that contravenes the rights of the Company, its Officers, Authors and Associate Publishers. Furthermore, you agree that nothing in your submission is, or potentially may be, libellous or defamatory to any third party. Nor is it abusive, gratuitously obscene, racist, politically divisive, or in contravention of UK laws on gender, age, race, disability or sexual equality. The only exception may be where such content is specific to the genre of your book, and this MUST be made clear in the submission.

  8. You agree that the Company has no obligation to offer a publishing contract to you, and may decide to reject the submission for any reason.

  9. This site is governed by English law. Any use in a jurisdiction that does not enable full compliance with these terms and conditions is unauthorised.

  10. You agree that the Company reserves the right to oversee, vet, monitor and to moderate all communications and information sent via this site, to ensure that all the above terms are complied with, as well as with any law in current force, or a valid request for disclosure by a Government agency.

  11. The copyright in this site (text, designs, layouts and general content) is owned as a ‘collective work’ by the Company (this does not affect elements that are copyright of individual contributors, which is recognised by the Company). You agree not to use, post, copy or distribute such content, without first having the written permission of the copyright owner, and then only to use the material within the specific parameters of the permission granted. You may make copies of such content if it is strictly for your own use and the rights of the copyright owner are not breached.

  12. By using this site, you agree to hold the Company, its Officers, Staff and Associate Publishers free of liability for damages – direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive – resulting from your individual use of the site or from your specific reliance on its content or information, or in the provision of the services advertised therein by the Company, or of goods provided through the site, provided that the claimed damage has arisen as a consequence of your own errors, mistakes, omissions, interruptions, delays in responding to valid requests from the Company, or the loss, corruption or deletion of a file, or any other material failure of performance by you.

  13. The Company makes no guarantee for the correctness of any information, legality or opinions contained in any third party sites that are now, or may be in future, linked to this site, as they are not under the Company’s control. However, if the Company is notified as such, every effort will be made to remove such links, or to have the third party bring the information on their site up to standard.

  14. No advice or information given in writing or verbally by the Company, its Officers, Staff or Associate Publishers, can be deemed to create a warranty, or a legally-binding contract.

  15. The Company will maintain best efforts to keep the operation of the site uninterrupted, free of avoidable errors, free of malware, viruses or other digital harms.

  16. The Company reserves the right to amend, update or remove this site from the Internet at any time without notice.

  17. The Company reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. A number and date at the foot of the page will indicate the current version.
