Winter & Drew signs new author – James Walker

Winter & Drew Publishing is pleased to announce a new author has joined the list: welcome James Walker

James’s book, Doing the Undone will be published by W&DP Associate Publisher Keith Rossiter, and is slated for release late summer 2026.

This is James’ first novel and is a story of revenge driven by love and loss in conflict.

After eighteen years in prison, ex Royal Engineer, Captain Angus McGowan, has managed to turn his anger and depression into a plan for revenge. His time serving in Northern Ireland between 1986 and 1988 was cut short by a set of devastating events with massive consequences for him and his beautiful girlfriend, Erinn. But he’s not the sort of character that just lets things lie. So, on being released, he wastes no time putting his plan for revenge into action.

This book follows Angus’ journey through the destructive events of 1988 during The Troubles, and, with his twin brother’s support, what he does about it in 2007.
